Frequently Asked Questions

How much do they cost?

All of our kittens sell for $700 to approved loving homes. We require a minimum deposit of $250 to reserve a kitten from a litter. Kittens are sold on a first come first serve basis.

We are a small cattery with just a few breedings per year. If we do not have a kitten available for you at this time, you are more than welcome to inquire about being placed on our waiting list for our upcoming litters. No deposit is required to be on the waiting list.

What's the difference between Traditional Siamese and Modern Siamese?

The principle difference is individual preference. Some people adore the new “Wedge” look, while others loathe it. The Siamese most people remember from their childhood are the Traditionals - those with the more robust bodies and big round heads.

How Long is Our Wait List?

The demand for our kittens is quite high, usually higher than our ability to supply, so we have a waiting list that we refer to with each new litter. You are welcome to ask to be added to the wait list, and that will improve your chances of getting a kitten more quickly. As of April 2011, you will probably have to wait through 2 litters before your turn comes. Time wise that is approximately 4 to 6 months depending entirely on how often we breed, which in turn depends on what is best for the mother cats.

Will a male or a female make a better pet?

Sex of the cat makes no difference as long as they are neutered/spayed.

catHow big do they get?

Males weigh anywhere between 11-15 pounds, and females range from 8-12 pounds.

What are points?

The points of a traditional Siamese cat refer to the face, ears, tail, and paws

Are they noisy?

One of the traits a Siamese cat is known for is its voice. They can be extremely loud. Some are non-stop talkers, while others don't talk unless they have something important to say.

Are Siamese friendly?

Yes. They love people, and most will go right up to strangers and demand to be petted. They are very intelligent, loyal, loving, and have almost dog-like personalities. Many love to play a game of fetch.

How many cats should I have?

Single cats in a household do fine, though they can get lonely if left alone during the day, and will therefore demand more of your attention in the evenings. Two cats, especially if they are close in age, become good friends and are often found sleeping or playing together and grooming each other. But they still crave human attention, too.

Are they outdoor cats?

No. Like most breeders we will sell our kittens with a contract stating that they be indoor-only cats.
